Shelly Dove, the visionary behind PerlWisdom, is a registered nurse and a paramedic with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. Driven by her passion for healthcare accessibility, Shelly established PerlWisdom to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to quality medical advice.
Shelly is certified as a canine behaviorist as well and has spent years volunteering and rescuing animals. Her love for dogs and the outdoors has invigorated her to learn and practice backcountry medical concerns and safety as well! Animals and people come first! In fact, this website is named after one of her favorite dogs, Pearl.
